Roberto Antonio Garcia, 75, of Brandenburg, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bob was a Marine and served in the Vietnam War and retired from Dairy Queen as a franchise owner. He loved spending time with his family, playing golf, fishing, and watching the 49ers.
He was born on February 15, 1946 in Lynwood , California. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Irene Campos, Son, Danny Garcia, and Grandmother, Mary Weber.
Bob is survived by his Wife, Shannon Garcia, Son, Roberto Garcia, Jr., Daughter, Monique (Jeff) Brill, Step-Daughter, Danielle (Joe) Wagner, Step-Son, Brandon Hurt, Sister, Mary Kathryn (Joe) Flores, Sister, Michelle Torres, Sister, Anita Cortez, Brother, Matthew Herrera, Brother, Daniel (Dee) Anglea, Sister, Diana (Lynn) Garton. Bob also leaves behind to cherish his memory 14 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
The family would like to give a heart felt "Thank You" to the Hosparus Health Staff of Central Kentucky for the care given to him during his final months.
The family requests that contributions in Roberto's memory be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
