Robert William Strauch, 76, loving husband and father, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville. Bob was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed drag racing during his younger years.

Bob was born on June 16, 1939 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Orville and Freda (Joy) Strauch. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janet (Stevenson) Strauch; children, Brian Mitchell (Sharon), Susan "Andrea" Mitchell, Robert Earl Strauch (Rose); grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Elly, Rowan, Amanda; great-grandson, Myles; and his pets, Zebra and Indra.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM Friday, November 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
