Robert E. Webb

Robert Edward Webb, Jr., 87, of Louisville Kentucky passed away Friday, August 6, 2021. Bob was born in Mayfield Kentucky on June 21, 1934. He was survived by his daughter, Lauren Webb Risinger (Ron), and his sons, Corky Webb (Beth) and Robert "Trey" Webb, III. He had four grandchildren, Tanner Risinger, Nicole Webb Krumme, Chris Webb, and William Webb. He also had three great grandchildren, Griffin, Lincoln, and James. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, their son Christopher, and his parents Robert and Marsha Webb.

Bob attended Atherton High School where he played football. He attended the University of Virginia and the University of Kentucky for undergraduate where he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He received his law degree from the University of Louisville. Bob was married to his wife Nancy for 54 years during which they raised children and many animals. He served as an assistant county attorney for 41 years. Bob was a very dedicated Wildcats fan and did not miss a UK football or basketball game. He was also a Washington football team fan and enjoyed watching the Nationals play baseball. As much as he loved sports, he loved his family even more and enjoyed time with his children and grandchildren. He loved his many trips to Sanibel and catching the occasional fish. Bob was a lifelong Episcopalian and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10 from 4-8pm at Newcomer's Funeral Home at 235 Juneau Dr in Middletown. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10am at St. Thomas Episcopal Church at 9616 Westport Rd. He will be laid to rest in Cave Hill Cemetery following the service. Since Bob and Nancy were lifelong animal lovers, the family asks that any memorial donations be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
