Robert Lee Vaughn, Jr

Robert Lee Vaughn, Jr., born on June 26, 1963, passed away on October 6, 2025. Robert proudly dedicated a significant part of his life to his career at UPS, where he contributed his talents to the HAZMAT department before retiring. His work was marked by a commitment to safety and camaraderie, reflecting his warm personality.

Robert was known for his infectious sense of humor. He loved to cut up and share laughter with anyone he met, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family alike. He brought joy to every gathering, making the simplest moments memorable.

In addition to his professional achievements, Robert was deeply involved in his community as a member of the Southeast Bullitt County Fire Department. His contributions there showcased his dedication to service and helping others.

Beyond his professional and community roles, Robert had a multitude of interests that brought him happiness. He was a passionate lover of music and animals, and he took great pleasure in caring for his multiple fish tanks. Robert's hobbies extended to being an avid collector of coins and sports cards, pursuits that reflected his keen eye for detail and appreciation for the past.

Robert's proudest accomplishments found their roots in his role as a devoted Pops to Dylan, Nathan and Walynn. His love for his family was evident, and he cherished every moment spent with them, creating joyful memories that will be treasured forever.

He was preceded in death by his fathers, Robert Lee Vaughn, Sr and James McKinney; son, Aaron Lee Vaughn; brother, Patrick McKinney and his grandmother, Rebecca Vaughn.

Robert is survived by his children, Andrew Vaughn, Heather Vaughn and Stephanie (Patrick) Williams; grandchildren, Dylan, Nathan and Walynn and his mother, Sue.

Robert Lee Vaughn, Jr. will be remembered not only for his career and interests but also for the vibrant spirit he brought to the lives of those around him. His laughter and love will remain in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
