Robert Lee "Bob" Rochner, 83, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on May 29, 2017. He loved gardening and enjoyed volunteering with his wife at the Soup Kitchen in New Albany.

Bob was born on May 22, 1934, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Leo and Alice (Brown) Rochner. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Harbeson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy (Tripure) Rochner; sons, Jeff Rochner (Terri), Mark Rochner (Debbie), and Tom Rochner (Susan); sisters, Joyce Mehling and Helen Byrnes; grandchildren, Jordan (Sarah), Matthew (Heather), Christopher (Maegen), Joseph, Zachary (Julianna), and Jacob; and great grandchildren, Jackson and Remi.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church-Lanesville (2500 St. Mary's Drive NE, Lanesville, Indiana 47136) with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to Revelation Tabernacle Soup Kitchen (602 West Market Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
