Robert "Robby" Griffith, 60, of Shelbyville, KY passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was born on February 6, 1964 in Shelbyville to the late William "Billy" Griffith and Shirley Griffith. He was a graduate of Shelby County High School, class of 1982. Robby worked for Prunell FB Sausage Company in Simpsonville, KY for 39 years. 


Robby is preceded in death by his father, William "Billy" Griffith; mother, Shirley Ann Griffith; and his brother, Timothy Griffith. He is survived by his partner and best friend of 16 years, Diane Teston; daughters, Kristy Murphy (Wesley) and Courtney Flores (Kerry); sister, Kim Griffith Bohannon; bonus daughter, Olivia Akers; grandchildren, Wesley Murphy, Jr, Jared Murphy, Brayden Murphy, Jaxen Murphy, Memphis Murphy, Laighton Flores, Mason Flores, Eden Flores, Landon Flores, Jaxson Akers, Alaina Akers, and Freya Akers. 


Per Robby's wishes there will be no viewing and only a graveside service at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Simpsonville Masonic Cemetery (Us Hwy 60 Simpsonville, Kentucky 40067). 


In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Robby's memory be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (PO Box 50, Memphis TN 38101-9929)
