Robert and Barbara were known for their awesome Derby parties. Something everyone looked forward to every year. They planned for months and it was always a huge success. He was a BIG prankster all the way to the end and loved gambling and playing cards which, he did up until 2018 when his health started gradually declining. He was an avid U of L fan.
In 2015 Robert's Granddaughter Jamie and her husband Michael opened their home to him so that we could keep an eye on him and help keep him safe due to some health issues. He remained there until 2019 when his health required more than the family could help him with. During those 4 years he was smothered with 3 little girls that dearly missed him when he had to move to assistant living, but boy is there some stories that will never be forgotten that occurred during that 4 years. We tried to convert him to a U of K fan during the time he was there but that was a FAIL!!
Robert had a great number of family and friends whom he loved very much and they loved him in return. He will definitely be missed
