Robert Louis Perkins

Robert "Bob" L. Perkins, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021.

Bob was a retired master mechanic for Honda. He loved woodworking, and fishing. He was an HSN fanatic! He was a very creative person, and did a lot of different crafts.

Bob was born on September 9, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Raymond and Lucille Perkins. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kim Perkins, and sister, Rose Cain.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sherri Beth Perkins, sons, Robert Perkins, Jr. (Christine), Raymond Scott Perkins (Cora), Joshua B. Ballard (Ryne), and Cody J. Curlovic, daughter, Shanna M. Shields (Ted Shields), sisters, Katherine Peach (Jim), and April Stivers (Tom), brother, Dennis Perkins (Debbie), Grandchildren, Joseph Perkins, Tre' Defazio, Carter Shields, Adalynn Shields, Amanda Brockett, and Nikki Chickvary.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Mount Holly Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Bob's memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
