Robert N. "Bob" Mitchem, Jr., 71, of Louisville, passed away on August 30, 2015.
Bob was born in Louisville on June 9, 1944 to the late Robert Mitchem Sr. and Queenie Thurman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Mitchem.
Survivors include, Joyce Morris Mitchem; daughters, Michelle and Kelley Mitchem; son Robert N. Mitchem, III; grandchildren, Alexis Cooper, Robert N. Mitchem, IV, and Triniti Russell; sisters, Queen Esther Rucker, Susie Grady (Steve), Toni A. Davis, Karen Y. Carter; brothers, Jerry Reynolds (Cathy) and Jimmy Reynolds; niece, "Fats" and many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy) with funeral service following at 1:00 pm. Private burial will occur in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central.
