Robert Michael Cox

Robert Michael "Mike" Cox, 49, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on July 22, 2016. Mike worked for many years as a bartender at Applebee's in Clarksville, IN. He was a talented cartoonist and loved movies. Mike enjoyed collecting and junking as well. His sense of humor and sharp wit will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Diana Mikel (Scott); brother, Kermit "Wesley" Cox, Jr. (Terrie); nieces & nephews, Aaron Mikel (Jessie), Alex Mikel, Cody Cox, Katelan Jones, & Kelsey Collins; great nieces & nephews, Archer, Aiden, Alice, & Emery. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Wesley Cox, Sr. & Barbara Ann (Crone) Cox; father, Frank Seper; brother, James Keith Cox; sister, Lori Ann Cox.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 3 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mike's honor can be made to the American Cancer Society (5635 W. 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278).
