Robert Lester May, 66, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Robert was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville. He loved doing crafts and puzzles.
He was born on September 17, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Evelyn (Miller) and William H. May III. Along with his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Feldmanis.
Robert is survived by his siblings, Linda Blackerby (Richard), William H. May IV (Anne), Judy Pollom (Daniel), and James "Jim" May (Victoria); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Robert's memory be made to the American Cancer Association.
