Robert Lee Lenz, 68, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. He retired after 30 years from the city of New Albany as a building inspector. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing.
He was born on October 18, 1949, in New Albany to the late Luther and Freda (Roberts) Lenz. Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah (Powers) Lenz; daughter, DeAnna White (Brad); granddaughters, Ellie and Eve White; siblings, David Lenz (Lorraine) and Marcella Miller (Floyd).
Cremation was chosen following Bob's wishes. A reception of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his Memorial Service taking place at 6:00 p.m.
Contributions in Bob's memory may be made to Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana (502 Hausfeldt Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
