Robert G Lentz, Jr.

Robert "Bob" G Lentz, Jr.,  passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dwade C. Lentz; father, Robert G. Lentz, Sr.; and sister, Lana Lentz. Bob is survived by his brother, Karl Lentz, III (Ann); daughters Shannon Lentz and Shawna Weber (Allen); 3 grandchildren, Julian, Kayelee and Taylor; 2 great grandchildren, Casper and Coraline; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Born on December 3, 1952, in Owensboro, Kentucky, Bob was a proud 1971 graduate of Iroquois High School in Louisville. He loved sports, going to the beach, and his family. Bob's warmth, kindness, and steadfast spirit have left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His family and friends will remember him for the love and joy he brought into their lives. As they reflect on his life, they find solace in the memories shared and the legacy he leaves behind.

The family will have a time to remember Bob on Saturday, August, 31, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive).
