Robert Lee Johnson ,67, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on April 17, 2015. He retired from Ashley Furniture.
He was born on January 26, 1948, in Courtland, Alabama to the late Jessie Johnson and Mamie Mason. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Dwayne Winstead Sr., grand-daughter, Tiffanie L. Jones; and siblings, Larry Mason, Sally Hill, Perry Mason, and Gracie Boyd.
Robert is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sadie M. Johnson; children, Gwen Jones (Robert), Jackie Rhodes, James Winstead Jr., Tommy Johnson, Stevie Johnson, Erica Johnson, Carlos Woodruff, Angie Hill, Marshall Johnson, Donya Johnson, Shantel Thomas, Kisha Vincent, Shandra Sloss, and Thilather Sloss; grandchildren, Nikita Winstead, Wayne Winstead, Brittanie Jones, Dwayne Winstead Jr., Paul Winstead, Joshua Winstead, and Gwen Winstead; siblings, Louise Sears, Carrie Mason, and Connie Mason; and several great-grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville KY 40272).
