Robert Lee Elswick, Sr., 56, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Robert loved gardening, doing carpentry work, refurbishing antiques, riding his motorcycle, and owning and operating his own trucking company
He was born on January 3, 1964 in New Albany, Indiana to William Elswick and Joyce (Archibald) Shelton.
Along with his parents, Robert is survived by his children, Jessica (Aaron) Stroud, Robert L. "Bobby" (Tonya Bryson) Elswick, Jr., and Colton Elswick; grandchildren, Amieliah Stroud, Dalton Stroud, Trent Gedeon, and Tyler Fabel; siblings, Yvette (Tim) Moriarty, Lettie Schneider, and Wesley (Dianna Dalton) Elswick; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cremation was chosen and no services have been scheduled at this time.
The family requests that contributions in Robert's memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
