Robert Anthony "Tony" Edlin , 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
He was born on March 31, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Shirley Edlin (Schoenbachler). He is preceded in death by his parents, and his Sister, Janice Cassidy.
Tony is survived by his loving Wife of 41 years, Verna Edlin, Brothers, Ricky Edlin, and Jimmy Edlin, his Uncle, Bobby Edlin, his Brothers-In-Law, Ronnie (Ginger), and Lonnie Miller, and Sisters-In-Law, Rose Hoskinson, and Starr Nevitt. He is also survived by his lifelong friend, Gary Marasco, and his many nieces and nephews.
Tony was an avid fan of the Louisville Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time at Daytona Beach with his wife, family, and friends. Tony attended Butler High School. He worked for 32 years at Jim Cooke Buick in the Parts Department.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, at the funeral home.
