Robert E. Vance

Mr. Robert E. Vance, age 91 of Louisville went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday. He was a WWII Army Veteran, European Theatre in the Battle of the Buldge, a member of New Salem Baptist Church, was a retired truck driver for Mason-Dixon and Trans American Freight Lines. He is preceded in death by his wife Anna Ruth Vance.

Mr. Vance is survived by one daughter, Vandy McCarty; five sons, Joe (Linda), Bill (Cindy), Alan (Linda), Charles (Valinda) and Roger (Donna). Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral ceremony will be Noon Friday at Grace Tabernacle Church, 6901 Mt. Calvary Drive, with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be at Grace Tabernacle Church on Thursday 3-7pm and Friday after 10 am until time of service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
