Robert Gordon Dailey, Sr.

Robert Gordon Dailey, Sr., 86, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He retired from the Maintenance Department at New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation and enjoyed attending the Jamboree in Corydon.
He was born on January 18, 1933, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late John and Bertha (Futter) Daily. Bob was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bert Jenkins, Theodore Dailey, Frank Dailey, Ruth Brubeck, and Stella Spray.
Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Norma (Oldham) Dailey; sons, Robert, Jr., Dwane, and Randy Dailey (Liz); nephew, Mark Wood (Donna); brothers, Jim and Karl Dailey; sister-in-law, Helen Dailey; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and several other nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen following Bob's wishes.
