Robert "Bob" "Red Cap" Carrier, 80, of Jacksonville, Florida, (Formerly of Shepherdsville, KY), passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020.
Bob was born on February 11, 1939 in Boyle County, Kentucky to Robert and Rosa Carrier. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters, Helen M. Hall and Mary Frances Allen, Brothers, Walter Carrier and Ronald Lee Carrier.
Bob is survived by his Daughter, Irene Lyninger, Sons, Bobby Joe Carrier, Ronald Ray Carrier, and James Lloyd Carrier, Life Partner, Betty Lou Carrier, Sisters: Elizabeth Curtsinger, Delia Welch, Opal Burgstiner, and Jean McCoy, Brother, Donald Ray Carrier, Grandchildren, Jessica Danielle Lyninger and Cody Wayne Lyninger, Great-Grandchild, Kaylen Drake Abernathy and very special Niece, Joan Bosh, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy) with a celebration of his life to follow at 12:00 pm. Private burial will be at Mt. Moriah Baptist Cemetery in Stanford, Kentucky.
