Robert Cantrall, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 7, 2016. He retired from GCH International, was a Kentucky Colonel and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown.
Bob was born on January 14, 1944 in Birch Tree, Missouri to the late Bruce Cantrall and June Layman. He was also preceded in death by his brother James Alexander Smith and sister, Patty Smith.
Bob is survived by his wife of 8 years, Sharon (Melvey) Cantrall; daughters, Laura Cantrall Gross (Kurt), Katie Cantrall (Josh), Nekeidra Reid, sons, Craig Cantrall, Brian Keith Cantrall (Tracy), fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
His funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home East Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.
