Robert E. Cambron , 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Baptist East Hospital.
He was retired from Reliance Universal Chemicals. Bob was an avid pool player and was Captain of numerous teams of the American Pool Association. He also loved fishing and was a member of the STUMP JUMPER Bass Club. He was the son of the late Edwin and Mary Koenig Cambron. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, James "Jimmy" Cambron and sister, Betty Ann Chesser.
Bob is survived by his companion of many years, Shirley Silva and sons, Joseph (Carla), Ronald (Judy), David, daughter, Roberta (David) Newman; step daughters, Debbie and Terry Hicks. Along with two brothers, Jerry (Rita) Cambron, John (Karen) Cambron; two sisters, Eileen Webster, Karen (Bob) Decker; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11-7pm on Saturday, June 6th at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest, 10304 Dixie Hwy. To leave a special message for the family, please press the "Share Memories" tab above.
