Robert Thomas Blanton, 68, passed away on May 12, 2015. He enjoyed being a truck driver and watching sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roma and Mary Blanton; brothers, James, Gerald, Paul and Charlie Blanton; sisters, Frances Sharp and Wanda Lukeas.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Sheryl Blanton; children, Mary Alice, Cecelia, Heidi and Shawn; 10 grandchildren, brothers, Kenneth (Chris), Larry (Karen), David (Denise) and Ronnie (Kathy) Blanton; sister, Martha (Jerry) Brooks.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 2pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Bob's life will be Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home beginning at 12pm.
Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens, 4400 Dixie Highway
