Robert "Bob" Allen Wathen, 69, passed away on January 24, 2016. He was a proud Army veteran who retired from the civil service as a heavy tank mechanic. He enjoyed golfing and was very family oriented.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Renee Wathen.
Bob is survived by his wife, Debbie Wathen, children, Vonda Estes, Eric Jeffries, Justin Wathen and Jason; grandchildren, Tabby Hoffman, Cameron Mendez, Haley Jeffries and Christian Mendez; great granddaughter, Anastasia Hoffman; sisters, Rosie, Patty and Donna and brothers, Prentice and Lonnie Wathen.
Visitation will be Monday, February 1, 2016, from 1pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Bob's life will be Tuesday, February 2, 2016, beginning at 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central (2501 North Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY) at 2pm.
