It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "007" Louis Bell, aged 75, who departed this life on November 20, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. A cherished brother, uncle, and friend, Robert was a man whose spirit brought laughter and warmth to all who knew him.
Born on March 31, 1949, in Louisville, Robert was the beloved son of John and Corrine (Walker) Bell. He was a charming soul known for his quick wit and love for comedy, often delighting friends and family with his humorous anecdotes. His passion for Western and action films reflected his adventurous character, while his competitive nature shone through in evenings spent playing cards and dominoes with loved ones. Robert also took great pride in his surroundings, exhibiting a meticulous nature that brought order to his life and the lives of those around him.
Family was the cornerstone of Robert's existence, and he held a special bond with his sister Barbara, which enriched his life immeasurably. The quality time he spent with his family was a treasure, reinforcing the strong ties that bound them together.
In addition to his sister Barbara, Robert leaves behind a legacy of love through his niece Towanda Splunge-Cross, and Lacrecia D. Harris-Henry, nephew Steven D. Harris, and a wealth of great-nephews and great-nieces, including Lafranmontrail Q. Johnson, Ledeldefran T. Johnson, LeVonte R. Johnson, Deontay D. Harris, Leonard K. Henry, London E. Henry, and great-niece Lachina A. Johnson. He is also mourned by family friend Irvin (Darlene) Reddin and a multitude of great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Robert has been reunited with those who preceded him in passing: his dear sister Doris Jean Thomas and brother John Arthur Bell, Jr. He will be profoundly missed but cherished in the memories of all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
In celebration of Robert's life and the indelible mark he left on so many, we invite you to share a memory or leave a special message in his guestbook below. May his spirit continue to inspire joy and laughter in all our lives.
