Riya Sarah Velagapalli

Riya "Kibble" Sarah Velagapalli, age14, slept in the Lord on September 05, 2020 surrounded by her family in Louisville, KY. Although her life was cut short, she displayed a heart of gold, pure, selfless, gentle, and modest, who loved the Lord with all her heart. She was known to be smart and funny with a sweet smile that lit up many hearts.

Riya is survived by her adoring parents, Sunil and Sunila; sister/best friend, Raveena; and grandmother, Sarala; and a host of relatives and friends.

If you asked anyone who knew Riya what they thought of her, they would say she was the kindest person they knew. She always thought of others and helped everyone around her selflessly. She had a vast knowledge of reptiles, loved animals, writing, art, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is truly a special gift that will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her and were touched by her presence. Her time on earth was short but the impact she made on everyone is eternal. She would want everyone to be strong and be happy for the time they shared together. Her work here is done and she has attained her heavenly wings.
