Rita Jean Poole

July 14, 1931 — June 11, 2017

Rita Jean Poole, 85, of Falls Of Rough, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017. She was born in Louisville, on July 14, 1931.

She was preceded in death by her son; Rex Marlin Poole and her parents; Howard C. and Daisy Owen.

Rita is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Robert Poole, her children; Russell "Rusty" Howard Poole, Rhonda Jean Poole (Garry) Dolle, and Renee Marie Poole (Michael) Frye; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.

A celebration of Rita's life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 3 pm - 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
