Rita L. (Baurle) Moses, 69, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, surrounded by her beloved family and friends. She was a quirky, tiny woman with a big heart, full of character and always in the mood to talk and share stories.
She was born on June 2, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles Anthony Baurle and Anna Walton Hans. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alvis "Al" Moses; daughter, Donna Gibson; and sister, Jean Sullivan.
Rita is remembered and held dear by her children, Shannon Moses (Michael), Heather Moses (Kenny); Tamara Anderson (Carl), siblings, Charlotte Ryan, Joyce Fields, Doris Ryan, and Kenny Baurle; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn, Anthony Lynn, Josh Gibson, Emanda Gibson, Shelby Sears, Katelyn Moses; great-grandchildren, Gavin Just, Harrison Wade, Jayden Lynn, Jordan Lynn, June Lynn; countless nieces, nephews, family, friends and her devoted cats.
A Memorial Celebration will be held privately for family and friends. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care.
