Rita Kay Hume, 49, of Louisville, passed away on March 16, 2016. Rita was born in Louisville on January 25, 1967 to Gary and Linda Sullivan. She worked at the University of Louisville for many years and enjoyed visiting the lake in her spare time.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Mark Hume; daughters, Kayla Hume and Tara Sullivan; grandson, Gabriell Hume; parents, Gary and Linda Sullivan and one sister, Alicia Vandgrift (Tommy).
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral ceremony will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
