Rita Mae (Bledsoe) Henson, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 24, 2017.
She retired from Dollar General at 80 years young after 21years of service.
Rita was born on September 8, 1935 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Raleigh and Gertrude (Parish) Bledsoe. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Henson, brother Robert Bledsoe, sister Marie Mattingly
Rita is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Richard) Skidmore, son, Welsey (Faye) Henson, grandchildren Miranda (Sean) Rowan, Derek (Amber) Skidmore, and great- grandchildren Dominic, Justin, Decland and Rene.
She is also survived by her brothers Kermie Bledsoe and John Thomas Bledsoe.
Per Rita's wishes, cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 1:00pm at Kernodle Funeral Home (315 E Union Ave, Wynne, AR 72396).
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
