Rikhardur Emmanuel "Rikki" Pescia, 66, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021. At the age of 17, Rikki moved to Iceland, where he would spend the next 45 years. During his time overseas, Rikki worked as a tour guide and ship engineer. Before entering into retirement, Rikki worked in logistics for Icelandair. Rikki was a member of Return Church in Clarksville and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed music, singing, and playing the drums.
He was born on September 18, 1954, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Ulbaldino and Rosemary (Tamburrine) Pescia. In addition to his parents, Rikki was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Pescia and his wife, Felicita Pescia; and brother-in-law, Johnny Tabler.
Rikki is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Stefania Dilja Pescia; daughter, Rosemary Rikhardsdottir and her husband, Bjorn Kristjansson; daughter, Sveindis Guernsey and her husband, Jonathan Guernsey; grandchildren, Aron Rossen, Stefan Rossen, Gunnhildur Kristjansdottir, Arney Kristjansdottir, Kristjan Kristjansson, Isak Guernsey, Dustin Guernsey, and Casey and Alexis Guernsey; siblings, Giulio Pescia, Michelle Jackson, and Adrianna Tabler; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
