Ricky Spence , 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Ricky loved 70's music and Earth Wind and Fire. He was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church at a young age.

He was born on October 24, 1955 in LaFayette, Alabama to Jesse and Sara (Todd) Spence. He is preceded in death by his Father, Jesse Spence, Sr.

Ricky is survived by his loving Mother, Sara Spence, children; Amber Spence and Brandon (Jasmine) Spence, grandchildren Edward Spence and Jaxson Spence, siblings; Gary (Sheila) Spence, Tara (Bernard) Averett, Nimrod (Rhonda) Spence, Kim Spence, Tanya (Richard) McKnight, Jesse (Mary) Spence, Jr., Mark Spence, Tia Wilson, and Terrence (Patrice) Spence.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His celebration of life will be at 5:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
