HEAVEN JUST GOT A LITTLE ROWDIER WITH THE PASSING OF RICKY MADDEN

Ricky Madden, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 27, 2026. A devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Ricky's love for life was evident in his passion for fishing, hunting, camping, and cheering for the OU Sooners and UK teams. Above all, he cherished the moments shared with family, friends, and his beloved dog, Leo.

Born on November 28, 1956, in Louisville to Richard and Naomi Madden, Ricky is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 40 years, Peggy Sue Madden; his faithful companion, Leo; his son, Jacob Madden. Ricky is also survived by brothers Larry (Debbie) Madden, James Zimmerman, Perry (Rhonda) Zimmerman, and sister, Vicky. He is lovingly remembered by nieces Elisha, Elizabeth (Matt), Amanda (Jamie), great-nieces and nephews, best friend Ricky (Karen) Snyder and their family, and many more relatives and friends who will honor his memory.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on September 4, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm at the same location.
