Ricky Henderson

Ricky Henderson, 38, of Shepherdsville, passed away on November 5, 2016. Ricky was born in Louisville on July 21, 1978 to Rick Henderson and Cathy Corbin. He enjoyed working on cars and being outdoors. He played football in high school and followed UofL Cardinal sports throughout his life. His greatest joy was when his beloved son, JoJo, was born.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is survived by his son, Joseph Lee Keith Henderson; a brother, Christopher Trent Henderson; a step-sister, Michelle Nicole Baxter; his paternal meemaw, Elizabeth Henderson; his step-mother, Becky Henderson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272) with visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service and continuing after the service until 8:00 pm.

One of Ricky's final kind expressions was to donate his organs to the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be directed to the Kentucky Organ Donors Affiliates at KYOrganDonor.org.
