Ricky Fredrick Cook, 66 of Taylorsville, KY passed away on Monday, April 26th 2021.
Ricky was a dedicated worker and made his living doing HVAC most of his life. He loved to fish and to spend time with family. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog Snoopy most the day.
He was preceded in death by his parents Abel Cook and Dorthey Stillwell-Kaufman-Cook; Floyd and Joyce Hurst (Foster Parents); his wife Cathy Cook.
Ricky is survived by his brother Donnie Kaufman, his sons Brad Vest and Alex Cook; his grandchildren Zachary Sinclair (Vest), Brittlynn Vest, Brandon Vest; along with several nieces, nephews and many loved ones.
Cremation was chosen by the family. A celebration of his life will be honored May 30th at the Sportsman's Club in Taylorsville, KY.
The family has asked for donations to be made to the estate of Ricky Cook, or donations to be made on behalf of Ricky Cook to The National Kidney Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
