Ricky Lynn Case

Ricky Lynn Case, Sr., 61, of New Albany, Indiana, died Saturday, July 11, at his home in Martinsburg, Indiana. He was born October 15, 1958, in New Albany, Indiana. A 1977 graduate of New Albany High School, Rick attended Indiana University Southeast and pursued a Bachelor of Secondary Education. He worked 24 years for the Royal Crown Cola Co. and retired due to health problems in 2006. Ricky was a passionate sportsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an advocate for gun rights and hunter safety.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Rhea Donna Case; and his brother, Gary Wayne Case.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Ann (Barnes) Case of Lanesville; their 4 children, Crystal, Ricky, Angelica, and John; his incredible granddaughter, Cora Ann; his father, Lonnie Bruce; his brother, Kevin (Kristen); and his sister-in-law, Debbie Case.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm. in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery-Tunnel Hill in Edwardsville, Indiana.
