Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Ricky was known for his warm-hearted personality and quick wit. He had the unique ability to uplift spirits, often lightening the mood with a well-timed joke. This jokester quality made him a cherished companion to friends and family alike.
Ricky’s passions were as varied as they were genuine. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, finding excitement in the speed and strategy of the races. His love for classic cars expressed his appreciation for tradition and craftsmanship, reflected in his collection of older vehicles. Additionally, Ricky found peace and pleasure in fishing and boating — activities that connected him to nature and offered moments of serenity.

He was preceded in death by his father. Eugene Belcher and his brother, Tony Ernspiker.
Ricky leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Patricia G. Belcher; daughter Shelly Belcher; son, Ricky G. Belcher; grandsons, Zachary Alan Pyle, Ricky Gene Belcher and Ethan Belcher; mother, Doris Shaffer; siblings, Evanna, Cheryl, Sandy, Lisa, Pam, Tommy, Thomas, Connie and Debbie and numerous nieces and nephews.
