Ricky Alan Beaver

Ricky Alan Beaver, 61, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at the University of Louisville Hospital with his family by his side. Rick was born on June 4, 1958, at Gravios Mills, Missouri. He worked in the tree trimming industry as Vice President and Co-Owner of the right of way division with ElectriCom for the past 13 years. Prior to ElectriCom, Rick worked alongside his father in their family business, Utility Clearing Service. He loved anything that involved being outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and boating. Rick was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan and a music connoisseur. Above all else, Rick loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Tharold Beaver. Survivors include his wife, Donna Beaver; mother, Edna Beaver; daughters, Rikki (Joey) Hanger, Tori (Tony) Beaver, Stephanie Beaver, and Samantha (John) Knies; son, Mick Knies; sisters, Tammy (Kevin) Broughton and Diann (Steven) Parr; grandchildren, Gavin Hanger, Aria Hanger, and Aniston Schoen.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with additional visitation on Friday, December 27, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
