Rick Rogers

Rick "Whitey" Rogers, 58, passed away on September 16, 2015. He was a talented carpenter and enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. He enjoyed watching football with his son, Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Oscar Rogers; brother, Dennis F. Cornelius and sister, Patricia Lynn Rogers.

He is survived by his son, Mitchell Rogers; siblings, Gary Cornelius; Brenda Swartz and Angela Rogers; mother, Stella (Jerry) Cooke and his faithful companion, Possum.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 1pm-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway) with a celebration of Whitey's life beginning at 4pm.
