Rick Edlin, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020. Rick enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his grandchildren, and working on cars. He was a lifelong truck driver, and was best at his career.

He was born on June 25, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Shirley (Kiper) Edlin. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Grandparents, Ethel & Charles Simpson, Son, Eric Edlin, Sr., Brother, Tony Edlin, and Sister, Janice Cassidy.

Rick is survived by his Son, Charlie (Michelle Decker) Edlin, Brother, Jimmy Edlin, Sister-in-Law Verna Edlin, Uncle, Bobby Edlin, Grandchildren, Shana Walters, Shelby Walters, Kyle Butler, Patience Decker, Trinity Ziakas, Katrina Edlin, Erica Connor, Baileigh Hasting and Eric Troy Edlin, Jr., Great-Grandchildren, Christopher Connor, and Aria Connor. Rick also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel.
