Richard "Wiz" Susewell departed this life on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. Richard Allen Susewell was born January 16, 1980 to the late Ms. Dawn Smith and late Richard Allen Susewell Sr. in Amityville, NY. He graduated from Walter G.O. Connell Copiague High School, New York.
He is the eldest of the two, and came to Louisville, KY to start a new life. Richard also decided that he needed to widen his search on his life and graduated from National Junior College and became a CNA. He had a love for anyone and everyone. Richard met the love of his life, Brittany Renee Jones. A bond that lasted for seventeen years. Within those years, Braylyn Marie Susewell was born. Braylyn is the image of them both. She is smart, strong, and independent. Richard also has a loving older daughter, Mia Susewell, the other apple of his eye.
Richard loved God and attended St. Stephens regularly. Between working at the Good Samaritan nursing home and being loving and kind to others, it's no wonder God wanted him early. His smiles, laughter and jokes were heartfelt. Richard "Wiz" enjoyed playing the lottery, Keno. He was willing to help anyone and everyone. He was always in a true argument about sports or music, but all out of fun.
Richard will be dearly missed, Heart of Gold. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Dawn Smith, father, Richard Allen Susewell, Sr., and his precious grandmother, Marguerite R. Smith.
Richard leaves behind his legacy, his fiancé, Brittany Renee Jones, brother, Omar Voliton, Terral Sowell, Jr., sisters, Jewel White, Reyona Gill (Michael), Tressica Robinson, and daughters, Mia and Braylyn Susewell, nephews, Omar Voliton Jr., Naseer Voliton, Michael J.
