Richard L Sparks
October 26, 1958 — July 16, 2025
Richard L Sparks, 67, passed away on July 16, 2025. He retired from Modine Manufacturing. Richard enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery and poker. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and a good friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ywell and Irene Sparks; sister, Pam Greer and brother, Wayne Sparks.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife Lisa (Heise) Sparks; sons, Ricky A. Sparks and Mark Anthony Spencer; sister, Lisa (Willie) Cheatham; grandchildren, Savannah, Eli, Gracie, Dallas, Wyatt and Ryleigh and several nephews and friends.
A memorial gathering will be July 25, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 2pm-5pm.
