Richard "Dickie" Morgan Scott

Richard "Dickie" Scott, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021.

Dickie was born on October 9, 1936 in Livingston, Kentucky to Charles and Hope Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Martha Scott, brother, Charles H. Scott III, sister, Ginger Hager, Barbara Ritchie, and Wilma Jean Scott.

Dickie is survived by his son, Rick Scott (Kathy), daughter, Debbie Abbott, son, Greg Anthony Scott (Judd), daughter, Kristin Dorsey (Kevin), sisters, Bobbi Ann Windhorst, Betsy Powell, Carol Sue Frazier, brothers, Thomas Scott, Terry Scott, Keith Scott, Kenneth Scott, Grandchildren, Ashley Abbott, Jessica Scott, John Abbott, Jeremy Scott, Joshua Scott, Brittany Boykin, Jacob Abbott, Liam Dorsey, and Roman Dorsey, great-grandchild, J'lynn Hudson, Jayla Hudson, Jamya Hudson, Jackie Abbott, Kaylynn Abbott, Donnaven Abbott, Aria Custard, Aimee Hutchins, Grayson Nix, and Nolan Boykin.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at New Castle Cemetery in New Castle, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Dickie's memory be made to the American Heart Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
