Richard Harold Rodewig III

Richard Harold Rodewig III, 43, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. Born on June 3, 1982, in New Albany, Indiana, Richard was the former owner of Rodewig's Concrete and had a deep-seated passion for his work in the concrete industry.

Richard was known for his outgoing personality and was often the life of the party. He was known for enjoying dancing, listening to old music, and playing basketball. Above all, Richard cherished the moments spent with his family, particularly with his children, nieces, and nephews. His playful spirit and genuine kindness touched the hearts of many, as he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Harold Rodewig, Jr. Richard is survived by his children, Tara-Ann Rodewig, Haley Rodewig, and Skyler Rogers; grandchildren Jayce and Zoria; his fiancé, Amanda Rogers; and his mother, Sherry (Crawford) Rodewig (Mark Lewis). He also leaves behind his sisters, Carol Duckwall (Tim), Danetta Arthur (Eddie), and Anna Malyska (Pete Cozart), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Visitation for Richard will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions located at 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, continuing after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by cremation.
