Richard Anderson Raymer Sr.

Richard Anderson Raymer, Sr., 73, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Jewish Hospital. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 16, 1943 to the late Stanley and Florida Raymer. He was retired from Reynold's Metal Company and was most recently with the deli department with Kroger's- Valley Station. He was a member of Southwest Assembly of God.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Clement Louis Raymer, Mary Lou Greenwell and a grandson Matthew Wood.

Richard is survived by his beloved children, Richard Anderson (Lynn) Raymer, Jr., Kimberly Jarboe, Raymond Scott Raymer, Melinda Jean (Gerald) Wilson and LaDonna Kay Wood; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Maurice Reece (Becky) Raymer; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
