Richard Radcliff, age 80, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. He attended Ahrens Vocational School and was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists, was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was a Mason. He retired from Naval Ordnance after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Emma Jane Grubbs Radcliff; and his brother, Ted Radcliff.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of almost 59 years, Mary; children, DeAnna Radcliff Redmon and Rick Radcliff (Felicia); grandchildren, Ryan Redmon, Elizabeth and Nelson Radcliff; brother, Don Radcliff (Pat); several nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday, August 22, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Monday at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, with burial Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2pm at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY 40160.
