Richard Scott "Scotty" Newton, 39, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
He was born on March 25, 1983 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ricky and Laura (Johnson) Newton. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Chad Brian Newton.
Scotty is survived by his loving sons, Brian Scott Newton and Richard Lee Newton; nieces, Chasity Newton, Sabrina Moon; nephews, Dominick Kuyl, Gary Pollard; sisters, Michelle Lee Newton, Chrissy Newton, Brandi Yates; aunts, Robin (Ricky ) Nelson, Vivian Johnson, Elaine Avery, and Emily Johnson; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his memory forever.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
The family requests that contributions in Scotty's memory be made to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions to help with funeral expenses.
