Richard Murray, Iii

Richard Jackson "Ric" Murray, III, 44, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 21, 2017. He was baptized Catholic and was a diehard Michigan Wolverine fan. Ric was very loyal to his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. He was the most honest person that anyone would ever meet and was a man of his word. Ric could always make you laugh with his unique sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Jackson Murray, Jr.; brother, Brandon Murray, grandfathers, Richard Murray, Sr. and Walter Saltkill; grandmother, Deloris Stark and step-father, Melvin Bishop.

Ric is survived by his son, Sean (Lindsey) Harley; mother, Connie Bishop; grandmother, Delores Murray; brothers, Michael "Joey" (Reasha) Bishop; Melvin (Tina) Bishop; sister, Rebecca Schmetzer and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) from 11am-6pm. A celebration of Ric's life will be Monday, March 27, 2017, beginning at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213.
