Richard "Rick" Lynn Schneble, 64, passed away on January 9, 2016. He was also know as "Snoopy" to his co-workers at Phillip Morris; he was fork lift driver for 28 years there. He was an avid softball player and coach for many years. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was a mentor and role model to many. He was an outstanding husband and a devoted and selfless father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margorie Schneble; brothers, Johnny, Willie and Tony Schneble.
Rick is survived by his wife of 43 years, Valerie Cummings Schneble; children, Varicia (Raymond) Noel, Vicki Lynn (Michael) Ray, Jake (Jennifer) Schneble and Vanessa (Michael) Miller; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dillon, Shelbi, Jordan, Cody, Amber, Trace, Jonathan, Kenneth, Jordon Dawn and McKenzie; great granddaughter, Hayden Olivia; brother, Terry Schneble; sister, Doris Meeks and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016, from 12pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Rick's life will be Thursday, January 14, 2016, beginning at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to Vanessa Miller, Vicki Ray or Varicia Noel to help assist with Rick's funeral expenses.
