Richard M. Jordan, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at his home. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 25, 1961 to the late Richard and Mary Jordan. He was an employee of UPS with over 20 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and UK sports fan.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Chrissy Adkins; siblings, Brenda Jordan, James (Robin) Hogan, Ralph (Vicki) Jordan and Mary Ann Hogan; a step-daughter, Candace Griffiths; a step-son, P.J. Griffiths; two granddaughters, Vanessa Adkins and Christa Adkins; a grandson, Marvin Adkins Jr.; a step-grandson, Camren Mills; and a host of other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Bethany Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the funeral home to assist in funeral services.
