Richard Wayne Jones, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on May 18, 2016. He retired from Jefferson County Dispatch after 27 years of service.
Rick was born on January 15, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Dorothy (Beck) Jones.
Rick is survived by his wife of 28 years, Hope (Riser) Jones, daughter Heather Elise Carpenter, brothers; Robert M. Jones Jr., and Michael Cape Jones. Rick is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of his funeral service at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243.
